Why Vegetables Need More Frequent Irrigation

By | Last Updated On: July 5, 2021 @ 4:16 am

Kate Bradbury from growveg said that It is well known that too little water can cause plants to wilt and even die. But over-watering can produce similar problems as the roots rot (a problem to which young plants in pots are very prone). In addition, stress caused by irregular watering can cause some plants to bolt (run to seed) yielding a very poor crop.

So supplying the right amount of water is quite an art and is essential to ensuring that you produce a decent harvest of fruit and vegetables.
