The Best Electric Snow Blowers

1. Snow Joe SJ627E Electric Snow Thrower

Customer Review of Snow Joe SJ627E

“Purchased this snow blower right before a storm, so was able to use it right away. Storm only dumped about 6-8″ instead of the 12″+ that was supposed to come, so I can’t comment on deeper snow, but it cut through the 6-8″ with no problem.
It was easy to push and easily blew the snow 15+ feet. What normally took me a backbreaking hour to clear with a shovel was done in 10 minutes…and was honestly fun!
The only potential negative that I could say, and it’s a minor issue for corded electric snow blowers: The cord can be somewhat of a pain. They become stiff in the snow making them a bit difficult to work with. In addition, you have to pay attention to where your cord is at all times to prevent running it over…pretty common sense.
I would absolutely purchase this again. For the price, it’s a great machine that does the job well. Can’t wait for another storm to come to play with it again!” – MHolway

2. EGO Power+ SNT2100 21-Inch 56-Volt Cordless Snow Blower

EGO Power+ SNT2100

Customer Review of EGO Power+ SNT2100

“I live in a chicago suburbs and was very hesitant about buying an electric snowblower. I had been a bit neglectfully of my old gas snowblower and allowed the cleats in the auger to fall apart and after about 10 years the machine was just done. I was a bit weary of buying an electric snowblower fearing my 75′ driveway would be too much for the batteries to handle with any decent snowfall. So far I’ve used it twice and have loved the results. First snowfall was about 4″ of regular snow, not too heavy or just powder. I was able to clear my entire driveway, the front walk leading up to my house and clear the entire sidewalk on my side of the block as well as half the sidewalk on the other side of the street before my batteries got low. Several days later I had a driveway full of slush, and while the snowblower did not send the slush flying out of the way the same as the snow I was easily able to clear my driveway sidewalk and a good bit of the blocks sidewalk on a single charge. So far I love this snowblower and while I have only had it for a couple months, as long as the batteries hold their charge this will be one of the best purchases I’ve made! This electric snowblower works better than the gas one it replaced.” – Michael Ries

5. Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Single Stage Snow Thrower

Snow Joe SJ625E

Customer Review of Snow Joe SJ625E

“For an Electric Show thrower, this works Very Well. I bought and use the proper Size guage power cord so the motor just keeps on working at full potential through the wet stuff and does not bog down.
The unit itself is light compared to my former Gas Snow blower that didn’t get all that much work. That’s a major advantage of this Snow Joe Blower, the cost of ownership is low enough to not worry if we only have a couple of snows, I don’t feel guilty for having a Snow Thrower at all. Plus the advantage of not having to buy Gas and Oil, and fighting with Starting issues. Storage is Much easier too!
Really the only way you could mess this up, is to Ram it into huge piles of snow, or abuse it some other way. As long as you use the proper Cord ( really, get a 12 guage cord ) the motor should last a good long time. Using a 14 guage cord, or something smaller (NO) may be okay for a FEW minutes, but you are shortening the life of the motor if you do that. Really, you can use the bigger cord for lots of things too.
This unit even has a small “headlight” so if you are out early, or late, you can be seen, and see better yourself.
Nice Snow Thrower.” – Jamesisit

6. Toro 38381 Electric Power Curve Snow Blower

Snow Joe SJ625E

Customer Review of Toro 38381

“I used this power shovel for the first time this Winter. It worked great on the 2 to 3 inches of snow on the ground and was very maneuverable and powerful for its size. It took away the chore of hand shoveling the drive and sidewalks. I brushed it off after using it and it hangs conveniently on a hook in the garage. Having to use a electrical cord can be somewhat of a nuisance but I don’t trust the battery life of cordless models and have plenty of long lengths of heavy duty electrical cords that it is not such a bother.” – William E. 9. TACKLIFE Electric Snow Blower

Snow Joe 24V-X2-SB18

Customer Review of TACKLIFE Electric

“This thing is an absolute beast. Even cut through the giant ice wall left at the foot of the driveway by the plow. My neighbors 2 stage 15hp had to be unclogged about 30 times. This never clogged once. It does bog down when hit with too much snow but if you take on small jabs it’s fantastic. Conquered Nor Easter 2020” – Brian burban

10. Earthwise SN72018 Electric Corded Snow Thrower

Snow Joe 24V-X2-SB18

Customer Review of Earthwise SN72018

“I was pleasantly surprised by this item. I am a single mom and it’s my first winter dealing with snow by myself. I hate shoveling. This little bad boy performed splendidly on it’s maiden voyage through a New Hampshire storm. It plowed through approximately 12 inches of snow fairly easily considering I was testing out on the max recommended snow amount. I cleared my whole driveway with it including the sludge at the end of the driveway. I did end up using a shovel at the end of the driveway once I completed everything because it was throwing the snow into the street which was not helpful, but that was the way the wind was blowing.

My overall thoughts on this product was that it takes about as much time as shoveling but waaay less effort. It saves your back and doesn’t wear you out. I like this little snow thrower!” – Mumma AllDay
